R2TC provides a wide variety of professional services that cover the entire IT spectrum. Our strong technical credentials on both military and commercial engineering and technical support contracts include design, installation, operation and management of enterprise network systems, including LAN/WAN, PC, electronic messaging, telecommunications and office automation; development, creation, implementation and containment of information management software tools.
R2TC has an a staff that consists of individual(s) doctoral education in Computer Science/Information Systems (IS) or Masters degree(s) in Information Assurance/Computer Science from institution(s) recognized by Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) IA standards for 4011 National Training Standard for Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Professional and 4014E Information Assurance Training Standard For System Administrators from the National Security Agency (NSA) Central Security Service (CSS). Certifications held and currently being pursued with award are the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Systems Security Engineering-Capability Maturity Model (SSE-CMM) Appraiser, Security+, Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and others that assurance a high level of professionalism to include technical ability to ensure successful execution of tasks.
Continuity of Operations refers to the preparations and institutions maintained by the responsible agency or authority, providing survival of operations in the case of catastrophic events. R2TC shall utilize best practices from industry. R2TC has developed Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) for multiple programs to include a corporate COOP that incorporates all R2TC sites. R2TC maintains active membership/participation with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and ASIS International to maintain knowledge concerning up to date information and practices concerning how Continuity of Operations. In accordance to the DoD 8570.01-M. R2TC has individuals who have IA Management Level I-III Certification.
The DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) is the United States Department of Defense (DoD) process to ensure that risk management is applied on information systems (IS). DIACAP defines a DoD-wide formal and standard set of activities, general tasks and a management structure process for the certification and accreditation (C&A) of a DoD IS that will maintain the information assurance (IA) posture throughout the system's life cycle. R2TC has a standard of developing an IA Preliminary Risk Assessment Report (IA PRAR) which includes looking at the physical and technological items before any work is done to fully understand the systems/subsystems to go through the C&A Process. Result of this has allowed R2TC to gain excellent past performance in these activities relating to C&A.
IT System design means a systematic and rigorous approach to creating a system solution that can scale the complexity of today’s IT challenges and demands.
At R2TC, we go through a structured process in our designs by following ITIL, Information Technology Infrastructure Model, (Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement) that can easily be integrated with the customer’s current environment and at the same time producing more than the desired positive result that can interpret to value.
Our designs vary from basic design (Small networks, Databases, Creating processes) to major designs (Storage Area Networks, Cloud Network Designs, Dedicated Smart Business Solutions and Building Enterprise Networks).
